If you are driving near Myrtle Beach in North Carolina, be sure that you check out beautiful Holden Beach! Holden Beach is about an hour away from Northern Myrtle Beach in NC, and it’s a very calm and quiet island. It’s unique because there are not big roads that will take you there, so make sure that you take highways I95 and I40. If you get lost, then ask a friendly person to get you on the right track.

One of the traditional things to do at Holden Beach is to watch the sunrise in the morning. If you have family with you, then you are going to need to stay one of the many holden beach hotels. It’s important that you make a reservation before you travel to Holden Beach. Especially during the summertime, it may be difficult to get a vacancy at a hotel that you prefer. The prices at the vacation houses are nearly comparable to the holden beach hotels. As mentioned earlier, it all depends on which time of the year you are visiting. During winter times, you should be able to get great deals at both hotels and vacation homes.

The hotel prices will also vary depending on which time of the year you go. Hotel rooms can range from 80 dollars all the way up to 200 dollars especially during the summer. Depending on the hotel you go to, spa packages start at around 135 bucks. This is actually a pretty good deal. Imagine getting some rays at a beautiful beach, having a nice candlelight dinner with your significant other, and then getting a soothing massage at the hotel’s spa. That will be hard to beat!
